Accommodation in the Hunter Valley
People who live in the city with its constant frenzied pace and noise will enjoy taking their holidays in quieter country regions where they can get in touch with Mother Nature, relax and unwind and generally enjoy the delights of country living. This is possible by seeking accommodation in the Hunter Valley which is only a short drive from Sydney.
If you have only a short time for a break you don’t want to be spending a lot of it travelling, but by getting Cessnock accommodation you can get there on Friday night and have nearly a full weekend to enjoy yourself before heading home again. These lovely animals are not native to Australia, but like many imported varieties they can be raised in this country quite successfully. Like many animals, alpacas vary in their nature, with some being very quiet while others are not so quiet. A lot depends on whether they were socialised properly while they were young. Some places have alpacas that can be petted; however you should not expect them to enjoy the same attention that you could give a dog or cat.
Holidaying in the Hunter Valley and Cessnock areas has many benefits apart from it being only a short drive from Sydney. The Hunter is well known for its wines and many vineyards also have a cellar door where you can sample and buy your choice of wines. There are also many beautiful gardens to visit, hot air ballooning and plenty of other attractions to make your holiday the best ever.
